Our main activity is roller skiing; that is cross-county skiing on wheels, the best method of learning without snow. We offer regular training sessions, equipment hire and free tuition by qualified Snowsport England Instructors.

We also organise a variety of sociable activities throughout the year. These may include walks, cycle rides, canoe trips, weekends in the Dales, and at least one ski holiday abroad. If conditions are right we also include local skiing.

We are affiliated to Snowsport England (SSE), the official governing body, which organises training courses for cross country skiers on roller skis and on snow as well as courses for Telemark skiers.

For recreational skiers roller ski tours are arranged between the various affiliated clubs, and for the competitive skier there are opportunities for racing.
