| THE CLUB | The Yorkshire Dales
Cross Country Ski Club was formed in 1981 and is
affiliated to Snowsport England. Although most of
the members come from the Yorkshire area, both our
membership and activities extend beyond the county
boundary. The Clubs aims are to generate an interest in, and provide a focal point for the sport of cross-country skiing for people of all ages and abilities. |

| ACTIVITIES | The Club provides
instruction and training by qualified Snowsport England
coaching personnel for both beginners and those wishing
to improve their skills. The Club organises a summer and winter programme. This includes training and tours in the North of England, both on skis in winter (when there is snow) and on roller skis at other times of the year. There are organised Club weekends in Britain and abroad and a range of other social events and activities such as days out walking and cycling. |
